Support The Black Community

We have decided to put our money where our mouth is. We will be donating 1 dollar per order from both the month of May (5,085 orders) and the month of June to an organization that is doing its best to help Black Americans and those who are standing up for them.  Below are the groups that will be getting donations from our pledges (more to come soon). These organizations are helping with bail fees of people that have been charged in connection with the protests happening in their respective cities.

If you would like to make a private donation to any of these organizations you can do so by clicking the links provided below.

Check back as we continue to find worthy causes to support.

The Midwest Innocence Project’s mission is to educate about, advocate for, and obtain and support the exoneration and release of wrongfully convicted people in the Midwest. Recent studies conservatively estimate that between 2% and 5% of all inmates in America are innocent of the crimes for which they were convicted, with some estimates reaching up to 7%. This means that somewhere between 2,000 and 7,000 moms, dads, sons, and daughters in Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and Arkansas are locked behind bars this very moment for crimes they did not commit. The Midwest Innocence Project  is a 501(c)(3).

Support is free and it doesn’t cost a thing to offer your love, but when you donate to the Marshaa P. Johnson’s Institue, you help them employ black trans people, build more strategic campaigns, launch winning initiatives, and interrupt the people who are standing in the way of more being possible in the world for Black Trans people, and all people. Being the champion for solutions is the legacy of their namesake and it is their goal to continue that legacy by championing solutions for Black people in the US, and offering a new reality for Black trans people in America.

Marsha P. Johnson was an activist, self-identified drag queen, performer, and survivor. She was a prominent figure in the Stonewall uprising of 1969. Marsha went by “Black Marsha” before settling on Marsha P. Johnson. The “P” stood for “Pay It No Mind,” which is what Marsha would say in response to questions about her gender. It is the consideration of who “Black Marsha” was that inspired The Marsha P. Johnson Institute.

The Marsha P. Johnson Institute is a fiscally sponsored project of Social Good Fund, a California nonprofit corporation and registered 501(c)(3) organization.

The Last Prisoner Project is helping to end the injustice of 40,000+ people in prison for cannabis offenses that are no longer illegal in most states.

Every donation helps to fund their programs that make prisoners "fully free" from prison by going beyond just release. They fight to clear their records through the "Cannabis Clemency Initiative" and the "Prison To Prosperity" re-entry program which helps constituents to rebuild their lives. The Last Prisoner Project also supports cannabis prisoners still incarcerated beyond legal assistance through financial assistance and scholarship programs.
